Hummingbird (for Twitter) ~ Make Sure You Want It!
Sunday, August 30th, 2009We received a email from a member that was telling of his experience with Hummingbird, a Twitter marketing tool. It appears that Mesiab Labs owns Hummingbird. Anyway this is what he wrote.
“I was all excited when I entered your program Extreme List Building. One of the ways of letting people know of my existence was Twitter. Very soon I found this could be an all consuming experience so I searched for ways to automate.
Hummingbird by Mesiab Labs had some good reviews so I thought I would give it a try with some others. Right off it was confusing, not intuitive to me for operations. Sent some questions to “help”, they told me to read the manual. Not what I wanted to hear. Another attempt at help and it was obvious that I was not going to be getting what I wanted.
I asked for a refund, they said no way. I filed a dispute with Paypal. Here is the result.
“To Whom it May Concern:We have proof from our license server that this customer not only purchased, downloaded, installed, and activated the software application but proceeded to use it. We have a no refund policy on software applications that have been activated. Thank you.Sincerely,AmberSupport Team”
So bottom line is unless you are absolutely, positively sure you want Hummingbird for life, look for something else that has support and will refund your money if you are not happy.”
NOTE: How could I be happy or unhappy unless I tried out the program – DUH!
Anyway, Real Life Success is pointing me to making some money I hope.
Thanks, Jim
